Thanks dan, we'll take it! We're not objecting to 'informed refutation of (our) point of view' (we've seen informed arguments but no refutation as yet); we're objecting to attempts to close down debate by using the language of shared assumption. For instance we doubt we share your definition of 'the problem' assuming you mean the presence of the coronavirus rather than the nature of and motivation behind the societal collapse we are seeing all around. That's clear from your response to the question 'what are you doing...'. As well as misinterpreting the question (see above!) you ask if we're for real. Thanks for asking. Yes we are and we're not going to be intimidated overboard by the use against us of language usually associated with the anti-semitic witch-hunt. Holocaust industry language is not appropriate in this context. What's with this 'minimization/denial' of the virus? Do you really believe there are serious posters here (or on OffG, or Lockdown Sceptics for that matter, who believe the virus doesn't exist/didn't happen or are not aware of the documented facts? 'Holocaust' language is not appropriate in this context The general population includes all age groups. The cohort of over-70s incudes a very small minority who have died from or with SC2 so our proposition holds up. (Btw we applaud your wife's ignoring of government guidelines when signing death certificates and hope she doesn't get done for it!) We would never presume to criticise your professional work and commitment and its not fair of you to suggest that we want to. However, we may well continue to question your judgements on the merits of some of the arguments and we're grateful for the completely and totally free opportunity of posting to TLN despite your invitation to leave the room ('scuse the mixed metaphor). |
