What's to elaborate on? I spent years early on in getting into rock music reading reviews from Gen-Xers and Boomers crapping on disco and disco influences in rock music, and reading the idea that, at best, disco was something you should hold your nose and tolerate. Eventually I rejected this and embraced the idea that disco was one of the best things that happened to popular music in the 70s.

Also, as I said in the review, my main objection to VV is that I think they put the wrong songs on the album.
