I could keep going, but there's also the disco revival albums - Random Access Memories, Jessica Ware, Dua Lipa, etc
There's tons of great disco. And comparing disco to funk in a derogatory way like this is like comparing 60's pop to prog. Disco is its own thing - no, it's not as complex or "deep" as funk, but it has its own strengths, and I'd say its better understand as a subgenre of pop than a subgenre of funk.
Anyway, I'm not why you're acting like saying disco is good is some kind of crazy extremist position that must be greatly scrutinized. Most genres are good, in fact. Not all, but most. And the only real reason to not view disco as good is buying the classic rock purist propaganda that disco is some sort of perversion of "real" music. It's just super narrow minded, in terms of taste, to hate disco for being disco.
