The e-mail suggests that matters were not considered. In any committee room such an allegation would be quite serious. I have covered both sides of such a suggestion, if they were raised, as you suggest, there is no problem. However, had they not been raised the matter could have caused problems.
If in your position on the NZACA you don't wish people to talk about the workings of what you are trying to achieve, then don't put them on an open forum, and ask your committee to refrain from such actions ... simple.
This site is open for all anglers to participate, and air their views. Like it or not by far the greater majority of sea anglers are not members of clubs and they are not members of the NZACA. If you choose to air matters on a site designed especially for member input and participation, you will get comments not all of which you will like.
The original title of this thread is 'Media Release'. The whole idea of such a happening is to create interest and get feedback. By releasing information reporting on dissent in the camp, what else did you expect?
