Hangler you seem to have missed the point of Yoey's original post which was to advise all and sundry of the email that the Exec new about and which has some half truths in it. This thread was to nip it in the bud before it created widespread panic. It was, as Yoey said in his last post, decided at the meeting that upon the creation of a "Nationals Sub-Committee" that they would look at all relevant information which included the 3 proposals and the feedback submitted by the clubs. All bar 2 Exec at the table last Saturday voted that this was the way it was going to be dealt with.
As to the release of the email, we had no control over that. The guy had resigned.
You need to read the posts again and not try to look for hidden conspiracy theories that are quite obviously not there.
Yoey's 2 post explain everything quite well.

I also fail to see where any feedback was asked for as this is more a statement of fact rather then a question or such.
