Hangler, with respect, to me it is about the equality of this decision. It is about rebuilding the fishery so recreationally and commercially we have something sustainable. The decision to allow one group to have a different size limit to another is, in my opinion, totally unfair.
I know that the Government is putting in measures to 'reduce' wastage from the commercial sector and good stuff too. But....Imagine if the wastage from commercial sector was reduced by 90%. No throwing back of anything. With this in mind vs. the cuts to Rec Angler limit, Where would you see the benefits lie?
