You may have noted the last ray he caught, he was happily photographed standing over his prize. Did you see the fish was wearing Swarovski studs in the gill covers.
You suggest the red cod can be hard to chuck, you then point out should he catch one, Gary finds chucking comes quite naturally.
One last problem and this was first brought to my attention by your good self. The fishing venue was to be Marine Parade. It is Gary's opinion this area is less than useless, so what makes you think he will have a fish to wind in? Just between me and you, Gary using cray for bait will serve little purpose, the fish in Napier are a pretty uneducated lot and probably don't know what cray is.
