For your information Gary and I are good mates. I often wind him up, cause he needs it lol. I have all of his books, all signed, Gary is a fishing legend. I even sent him some alluvial gold from the days when I was a gold prospector and under water gold dredger. I have eaten at his table and stayed at his house. His daughter and her husband stayed at my place on their epic South Island Cycle ride.

He was the CEO of Team Alty that won the Team Event. inaugural World Kahawai Fishing Comp at Papamoa several years ago. I am Trevor Alty and I organized the team and was part of the Team.

In fact I caught the first Kahawai of the day.

Need I go further. When I arrived in Napier after the Comp, in my motor home. Staying at a motor camp at Lequaine Road, I was visited by Sue, thats Garys wife and her daughter who bought me pikelets with cream and jam on.

If you don't like a thread, well don't bother clicking on it. Obviousy you are missing a sense of humor and cannot read between the lines.

So to keep you happy. I need some hooks, what hooks do I buy and where can I buy them. Will hooks catch fish, do I need to put bait on them to catch a fish. Are hooks dangerous.
