What make one surfcaster stand out from the rest. Why do a few, seem to catch more than all the others.
Do they just spend more time on the beach.
Do they fish at the right time.
Do they carry with them a selection of bait.
Can they cast further than most.
Is their gear better.
Do they develop a positive attitude.
Do they travel further.
Can they read the beach better.
Do they have more cash and time than others.
Is the guy with the quad or 4 x 4 likely to catch more than the guy that has to park in the carpark, and walk.
Is it dedication or just plain luck.
Two guys or gals, fish together. Same bait, same gear. One person seems to get all the fish.
Are they first on the line as the fish approach.
Or do the fish gods smile upon them.
I fish with two other guys. We fish together. Mostly using the same bait. We fish holes, gutters, channels. We all have the same knowledge. Similar gear. But on an average, one, always catchs more fish.
Its a bit like the two rod fishing thing. One rod always seems to be the lucky rod.
