    (My opinion only as usual - in other words I could be, and probably are, totally wrong)

    Do they just spend more time on the beach? (yes but the right time)

    Do they fish at the right time? (yes see above)

    Do they carry with them a selection of bait?     (yes unless they are targeting a certain species)

    Can they cast further than most? (they often can but dont always use that distance)

    Is their gear better? (not always - but see casting distance - you could give a $2000 outfit to a novice and they probably wont increase their catch)

    Do they develop a positive attitude? (I cant see this as having any bearing on hooking a fish or not. Apart from giving up and going home )

    Do they travel further? (yes but not always)

    Can they read the beach better? (yes)

    Do they have more cash and time than others? (two different things - cash makes things a lot easier [travel] - time is essential [travel]. But you could be a rich bugger and have no time for fishing etc)
