I haven't gone out. I only worked two days and didn't eat lunch either time (both cases didn't proceed). The last time I ordered food was that curry with small bag of rice but that was a while ago. I went to M&S for my latest shopping. I've just eaten sandwiches for the past couple of days.
Yeah, I don't know. Weird.
In other news, going to check out a flat next week. It's in a not so great area and the pictures don't look impressive but it's a two minute walk from the court and £25/less a month than what I'm paying now.
So unless there's something horrendously wrong with it, I'm going to go for it. I'll do it just to stick it to this cheap Jew landlady. Although, by this point I'll have been here for three months which isn't much shorter than the old six month minimum leases.
A two minute walk to work. That would be awesome. And how much crime can there be that close to the court? There are police all over around there.
It's also not far from the last place I lived in, which was a pretty good location too.
But with this place, I'd be marginally closer to the two main train stations. Grocery-wise, you're basically just looking at Tesco, which is unfortunate, but it's a large Tesco. It's also a bit of a walk. Maybe ten minutes.
Actually, that's about the same distance as my previous flat to a different Tesco. And that Tesco I went to before was small and literally smelled like shit a numerous occasions. They had some problem with their toilets or sanitation system or something. It was so bad that I couldn't believe that they didn't close the store. Never mind the health concerns, if I was an employee there, I would tell them to fuck off. You want to work in a place that reeks of shit, that's your business, but I'm not doing that.
What else are people concerned about when they move? I guess that's about it. It's also two bedrooms so maybe it will be reasonably spacious. I always looked for one bedroom places but then I was reading on the Glasgow Reddit about how there aren't many one bedroom places and you can get a two bedroom place for a similar amount of money. That seems to be the case.
Oh, electric heating. That's no good. But my last place had that too. I don't even know how much more expensive it is.
Another bad sign is it's three flats per floor. Although, this is probably not the middle flat. Still, there's probably a shared wall.
Anyway, I'll check it out and report back here a full report.
