I sent them an email 20 minutes after ordering asking to cancel the order. They ignored this and three hours later sent me an email saying that the order has been shipped.

They offer refunds if you're not satisfied with the product. Free return shipping. So they're presumably betting that I won't bother to return it. They're mistaken. I'm going to return it and not buy anything from them now.

I also did some further investigation and discovered that these jeans aren't even made in Japan. They're made by Edwin Europe, which is simply a company who licensed the name.

This is the same problem with Levis. In the US, it's a brand of jeans for the working man but in Europe, it's a designer brand owned by a European company who simply license the name.

My original plan was to just buy some Levis from the US using the US Amazon. I think that's what I'm going to have to do. I looked at buying Edwin jeans from Japan but the website is all in Japanese and even with Google Translate, it's difficult to navigate and I'm not sure if they ship to the UK anyway.

But yeah, fuck these faggots ignoring my cancellation of their bootleg product. On Amazon, you can cancel orders before they're shipped out. It's no problem. They give you your money back and cancel the order. But these thieves want to waste money shipping, no problem. I'll send it back. There's some sort of free shipping label that they allegedly send with the order.
