I had to put my doorbell thing on "private" on like the second day that I moved in because these neighbours apparently don't have keys and will press it.

Today, this woman was pressing all of the buzzers and banging on the door for literally an hour. Nobody was letting her in. So she started screaming, "I have to get in!" I thought she was going to break the door down.

This woman must be 80 years old. Maybe 70 with a really hard life. She's the oldest scumbag I've ever seen.

Who bangs on a door and rings all of the bells for an hour?

A few nights ago, I smelled stale cigarettes. I thought it was from some guys I was working with earlier in the day. Not that I think they smoke.

Then I realised what it was. This woman chain smokes to such an extent that it permeates my flat. Her flat is across the hall. There's no shared wall. But all through the hallway, you see ashes. She just flicks her ashes on the stairs as she goes up and down.

So there's this scumbag neighbour. The police were here twice, as far as I'm aware. Possibly more. That's two times in one month. The neighbours downstairs are even worse.

Then there's the flying insect infestation.

There's still the huge hole in the bathroom.

There's the cracked tile in the bathroom which has subsequently caused about five tiles to break due to loss of structural integrity.

And these shitty, shitty blinds.

Not to mention all of this cheap tat in this "furnished" flat. Furnish a place with shit. It's ridiculous.

I looked up the landlord of this place I'm going to check out. It seems to be a Scottish guy who owns a (presumably small) property company. I think that's probably the best option. The last place I had was also owned by a small property company run by a Scottish guy.



He has my vote.
