It's like summer out there. By which I mean it's warm.

Anyway, went to the bank to submit the documents. Somebody was available but there's some fuck up. So they're still going to give me the account but only my savings account is being transferred. I have 1p in that account. So I have to go back there again once I get my card and they'll "manually" switch my current account. What a hassle.

I wonder if it's worth being one of those people who constantly switches bank accounts in order to get those new customer deals. I doubt it. There's always some loopholes with these deals. You need two direct debits or you need to deposit £1500/month or you only get the money after a year or some bullshit. And we're talking about pennies. Who cares? Keep your pennies.

But it is outrageous that these banks only seem to care about new customers. Why aren't they "rewarding" existing custommers with these "deals"? It's a bizarre business strategy.

I'm just thinking about these cheques now. This new bank doesn't have people who can take cheques, as far as I know. It's a weird set up. There are probably machines, I guess, but I hate those machines.

And it's such a journey to that bank. But I guess I can go whenever I go to the train station. That's basically what I did with my other bank too. It's not too far from the train station and if I'm already out, it's no problem.

"Daughter of Putin spokesman works for ally of Nigel Farage". Way to go, Guardian. What a scoop! Some woman who has a really tenuous connection to Putin works for somebody who has a really tenuous connection to Nigel Farage.

What's up with all of this "Putin" shit anyway? Is anyone actually buying this? Are we really supposed to believe that Putin somehow got Trump elected? To what end? What are they insinuating with this? That the US is some puppet state of Russia now?

In the past, this would be the insane ramblings of far right talk radio lunatics. But today, it's the mainstream "liberal" media promoting this bullshit. Why? And who's buying it?

Well, if people believed that Osama Bin Laden was killed and then hastily buried at sea, I guess people will believe anything. Goes to show the shocking decline in the American education system. People are just a lot less intelligent these days.

I was reading about that woman who wants to come back to the UK after joining ISIS or whatever. It's hilarious. They revoked her citizenship. It's clearly against international law to do that but it happened anyway. Nobody cares. The elites don't care about the rule of law and the masses are too stupid to be outraged by this.

The idea that she's a citizen of Bangladesh is patently absurd. You have to take active steps to declare a second citizenship. It's not automatic. And you're given a certificate. It's just ridiculous.

She's a deplorable person but when the people ruling the country are so flagrently going to breach the law, isn't that worrying to anyone? This is a country of laws. Why do you think I took to you all of those Police Academy movies? For fun? Well, I didn't hear anyone laughing. Did you?
