I understand what your saying but George doesn't want to waste his time with a numpty ,all I'm saying is that after a couple of days it should be apparent to anybody whether your new mechanic is able to do the job you have employed him for.
in the last 4 years I have interviewed probably a dozen people, employed 6 and got shot of 2, 1 on his 4 day and the other at the end of his months trial.
