Hi pete, I dont think you can get a secondary resistance from these coils. Primary, set up scope to measure primary voltage and primary current. The current should build up and drop off in conjunction with primary voltage signal. Have a look on PICO scop website, it gives good images. Ill try and retrieve a a scope picture from work.
