can't answer the question which is correct but the sync between the crank vs cam has moved 4 teeth less with the new sensor after the missing tooth (gap) so so either the key way is at fault on the bottom pulley or where the cam sensor locates on the dowell pins it must have some movement.

I'd go with the genuine sensor being the correct pattern as well.

I'm struggling with a Zafira Z18XE logging cmp sensor signal error on cranking even though its had 2 non genuine sensors fitted by another garage.
