Hi Lee No worries, yes 8 valve Owner came back to arrange timing belt for Jan 4, so providing no issues until then I will check pulley keyways at that time. No running problems or EML / spanner light since sensor fitted but no time to re-scope last night. Your latest Z18XE capture is wonderfully clear Lee, A Pico is now top of my want list as although I've not beeen scoping for long, I'm beginning to notice the limitations of the 2 channel scope on the KTS. (Mainly the one second time base) Dont get me wrong, It has been a bloody good tool to learn on. Even as short a time as 3 - 4 years ago I would have farmed out a lot of jobs, as electrics are NOT my strong point . Cheers, Tony
Just seen Dave Harney's Cam/Crank sync .. .. Thank you Dave. Well, it appears that everybodys sync is between the 7th & 8th tooth except mine Should I have a worn keyway, it's strange that the signal stays constant even with revving the engine, I would have expected some movement whilst doing that ?? Anyhow, hopefully all will become clear when timing belt is replaced. Thanks to Lee, James and Dave for your help Guys. Cheers, Tony. |
