I think not having any kind of foothold in the terrain of the poor and working class majority of the U.K. Means it's difficult for you to see the reality of that. It's not about better; most of us have up on that long ago. It's about different. There is no hope in maintenance of the status quo, because it's screwing most of us into the ground. What hope is there is an alternatI've? Who knows? It's not the point. That's how bad things are.
You don't stay in a burning building 2 floors up even if it means breaking your legs by jumping out the window, or even dying. Staying where you are guarantees your fate.
I suspect anyone over a certain bracket of status and income has no hope at all of understanding that predicament.
