Why is a second referendum substantially more undemocratic than the last one? Surely, in a democracy, the current attitude of the people, to any issue, is always the right one? It would be a strange kind of democracy where the views of the past had an absolute veto over the veiws of the present? Perhaps people would vote for Brexit all over again? Surely the important factor is how destructive this whole thing is? How polarising? Is it all worth it, given the questionable benefits of Brexit? Then there's the tricky question of the rights of the minority who voted to remain. What of their views? Does one half of the population really have the right to press their attitudes down over the other half, against their passionate objections, steamroller them and expect them to just accept it without question, almost like in a dictatorship? If one is allowed to change governments through elections, why doesn't that apply to the results of referendums? This is what happened in Denmark, Ireland and Holland not so long ago, what's so special about the UK? Why is the result seen as 'sacred' and unchangeble? Considering the public knew #### all about Europe and were basically 'duped' by Farrage and Boris Johnson, I think a new vote is perfectly natural and proper, now the realities have been revealed.
