It seems strange, in the current political climate, which verges on hysteria about 'anti-semitism', with a broad definition that's spreading wider and wider all the time; that anyone in Galloway's position, a tiny oasis of dissent and opposition, in a vast rightwing, media, desert; would say something so crass, juvenile, and wasteful, for so little benefit or principle. But, that's characteristic of Galloway and his bruiser from the working class gutter that's afraid of no man, I suppose. To lose so much for so little, seems incredibly stupid to me. Doesn't he have the slightest bit of tactical sense? Or does he have a dangerous streak of narcissm about him that he can't and won't control? He is conceited, arrogant and very vain. But I can live with that easily, because he's not alone in the media with that, one needs an ego to perform well on that tawdry stage. Did he want to get sacked, ask for it really, just to make some point? To burnish his leftist hallo as a persecuted martyr of the people?
