I thought it necessary to add a short comment supporting Alan because his comment 'chimed' with me (and, of course, I was ignoring the strong language beforehand : )). From my perspective it wasn't about you per se. Not at all.
I took the view which is different from some other posters and your good self, that GG has made a mistake. For example, I said elsewhere:
I was clear about the fact that Galloway has uttered similar statements about Tottenham Hotspur in the past. I listen to his podcasts avidly, as it happens, so I know.
Suddenly this is an issue. Ask yourself why.
He hasn't crossed the line, he was holding the line, which suddenly became unacceptable ...
Perhaps it's the nature of the board conversations that leads to misunderstanding. My point was simple, GG's tweet is in line with his previous line of thinking, and if anything, in his podcasts he made stronger points about AS and Israel and he wasn't sacked.
