Got any actual evidence about this machine, fred? The vids, etc. provided add up to nothing much, Archived Message

beyond the evident fact that someone has raised a fair bit of capital and invested it in a workshop where some interesting-looking machines, of good-quality engineering, but of unstated design, rotate gently. Er - yes. So what? Nothing is proved by any of this. Clearly, all that investment and skilled-engineering effort indicates some degree of commitment. But to what? I dip from time to time into the whole 'free energy' subculture, but I've never seen anything yet that actually stands up to even the most open-minded critical evaluation. Oh, and any vid with a completely pointless rock-beat muttering irritatingly away in the back-ground is instantly suspect as flashy, but mindless and hopelessly-shallow, hype; as these vids all seem to be. Let's see some detailed engineering drawings, and at least some attempt at a theoretical - or even just hypothetical - discussion of what's happening when these machines - allegedly - work. And can we test exhaustively, too, for any cunning conventional power-supply fit-up somewhere in the bowels of it all, to make it run...? (A free-standing diesel engine will run on a fork-lift pallet quite easily. Such Barnum-and-Bailey stunts 'prove' nothing, except to intellects of Trumpian levels of shallowness.) I hold with the open-minded scepticism rule repeatedly urged by Tom Campbell when dealing with apparently baffling ideas: stay open-minded, to avoid damfool dogmatism; but stay sceptical too. That's to say: Show me, in detail; and also offer an explanatory hypothesis to test. A comprehensible one, that is; not just lots of opaque waffle amounting to nothing very clear.
