Let's wait and see if that happens then. On the current referendum, it's an issue of politics, not law. No one needs a law degree to have a view on it, just as no one does to vote for a political party. If you think they should then we should do away with the farce of representative democracy altogether. If you believe they needn't then we're still at least on some democratic path if we honour the results. If we submit that democracy is too problematic we can safely leave all that stuff to those honourable folk in parliament who have proved time and again they can be trusted with the big stuff to make all the right decisions.
