I have always had this problem and didn't know until about 5 years ago that it is a medical condition. However, when I tell people, they still laugh and joke.

My only resolution to this problem was purchasing a portable GPS that I can take from car to car. I also pay for the navigation program on my cell so that I can take it when I am not in a car.
