Absolutely Ross shes a deep beach alright , like most NZ beach's they are nearly always shallower at the northern ends compared to the southern ends,and I reckon the spotty s (Hiwhiwi) may have been dinning out on the mussels that you so kindly providedfor them.If no work this weekend Im looking at fishing some haunts along the Thames coast if your interested, I hear some snapper being caught in close and I havnt had a feed of fresh fish all winter, keep in touch bro..
