The programme needs to be called Catch'em, Cook'em. A dedicated surfcaster needs to kidnap a Chef once a week and drag them off to a beach, targeting a different particular species each week.
You catch the fish, display the tips and tricks involved, and in the last ten minutes the chef has to cook it using a simple but attractive recipe, maybe even one that is barbecue based to keep the guys interested.
Yeah its been kind of done before with Al Brown and Graham Sinclair but not wholly through surfcasting (which is the fishing most people can relate too). Food and cooking shows however are very popular with viewers and advertisers and TV Channels are keen to do these shows.
Its simply a matter of packaging a palatable product, with great scenery, good fishing and good food. Can't lose really.
