Hi Frank and Everyone that has Replied. We have Been Banging our Heads against Brick Walls Telling Manufacturers that this is what we need for the past couple of years Without any signs of Improvement, All We Keep getting is Manufacturers that Say that They Are Japanese Specialists (and are Reasonably Good at what they do), But Instead of Concentrating and improving on what they are good at, They Just add more Manufacturers and End up with a tool that does a lot of bits and bats, But Cannot Do Any Job Fully, and is normally full of Bugs and Faults that never seem to get sorted out, Then We Buy a Tool that Is Supposed to be good on Certain European cars and they Decide to add Lots of other Manufacturers to make it an all makes tool. Then If You Go down the system Manufacturers Tool Like Bosch. They won't Allow you to Communicate with some Bosch Systems Because they are tied by the Vehicle manufacturers. ? So What Chance have we got apart from Buying Dealer Tools and hoping that we can Keep them updated to a reasonable level. ?

I Don't think the Salesmen and Tool manufacturers actually realise the Importance of being able to complete a job, The Salesmen get told what the tool can do, ( And try to sell it on those Merits ) but they don't usually know what it can't. ( Until after they have Banked our Money and we have Tried the tool on various jobs ) That is where our Problem starts, After we have wasted several hours checking a job out to find that the Tool that we have just paid several thousand pounds for cannot do the job and it means taking it to the dealer or trying to find someone else that has a tool that will finish the job.
