https://www.rt.com/news/450510-turkey-venezuela-guaido-risks/ It also quite interesting that the opposition in Turkey to the western attempt to topple the elected government of Venezuela hasn't received much coverage, why? Clearly the Turks are concerned that this new, 'democratic' coup model introduced by the Americans, could just as easily be employed against Turkey and if successful sets a disturbing precedent, undermining many of the central elements of national sovereignty. Our media of course, completely ignores all of this, the consequences and ramifications. We're making the 'rules' up as we go along and they don't apply to us, so they can't be 'universal', but just another weapon in our arsenal against states we don't approve of. Our 'humanitarianism' is a thin veneer covering brutal great power politics.
