Dovetailjoint, As it stands on many issues I'm a bit of a contrarian, as such, I'm not one to suggest I speak for the Left, particularly given my own eco-socialist credentials with a distinct liking for democratic syndicalism, which would solve many an economic issue - what I have suggested, informed by a firm grasp of a number of practicing Heterodox economists, is that Brexit is not impossible, however, a less than 3 year timeline to implement any agreement has proved rather difficult, made worse by the Tories in charge. Further, the Tories since 1979 have never enjoyed majority support in the UK, nor has Labour by the way - we are where we are due to FPTP, which i'm opposed too - by the same extension, I'm opposed to any institution that I cannot influence via a Vote, and the EU is far from a democratic ideal. Again, Varoufakis has written extensively on this issue, unlike Varoufakis though, I take the Bill Mitchel approach, namely demolish and re-build an Institution that represents the People and not business interests and a very rich elite. We are where we are, but lets apportion blame equally, given its a truism it takes two to tango.
