" I'd suggest that corbyn's basic view of socialism is a lot more representative of the left in the wild than the PLP, hence all the election results, and the substantial polling approval of many of his economic policies. It's the very popularity of these policies that motivates the focus on antisemitism and the rest. This is the same as the majority prerference for free healthcare in america consitently shown in polling (and even seeming approval of the 70% tax AOC has popularised). Chomsky repeatedly talked about this mismatch between public opinion and policy which has long united status quo-enablers on both 'sides' in keeping the system undemocratic. When i talk about the left i mean this baseline socialist opinion that most 'normal' people share (at least when divorced from tribal politics), and certainly not any shiny-faced liberal bullshitter that says they're on the left but act otherwise. I think most people understand this difference to some extent.
