Corbyn; especially at this time, with a possible election on the cards and the Tories in full melt-down; is in a difficult and delicate position, where one has to be 'realistic' and prioritise. He wants Labour to win the coming election and he wants to be PM. To wade into this grotesque and shameful piece of political theatre, if he was inclined to support Walker, wouldn't make sense at this time. He can't afford to and his prestige and strength within Labour don't make it possible, probably, being charitable, hoping that their is some calculation behind his 'disgraceful' silence, and not just cowardice and a chronic lack of moral fibre.
