You conveniently ignore what I say by selective quotation. E.G I acknowledged that an unclear Brexit needs to be sorted out so I suggested this: " If, as is the current case, no-one can agree the form Brexit should take then another confirmatory referendum should be held to determine that - but there should be no question of "Remain" being on the ballot. " The question of Remain or leave has already been answered so now the only question is what sort of Brexit. May thought she could get everyone to coalesce around the EU's rubbish deal by pushing it to the wire - 3 meaningless votes later she has still failed. Parliament could still come up with a compromise deal if it does not then we should ask the people which sort of Brexit (not Remain) do they favour. Those who seek to disenfrachise voters who voted to leave the EU underestimate the damage this would do to our democracy and our society. There will many voters out there who may actually feel they have nothing to fear from a no-deal brexit as they are already living below the poverty line. There will also be many who have voted on non-economic principles alone and determined that the UK is better off outside the EU. I shall ignore the side swipe at me I can see the "sonny" remark struck home - I apologise for that I too have difficulty in holding back sometimes. cheers
