When you begin to behave like a grown up then maybe the "sonny" accusation will not apply - no-one has questioned my mental capacities since I retired almost 20 years ago, I don't intend to let people start now. You still failed to answer the initial question - because you know that you would never have reopened the indy issue with another referendum once you had secured a majority to leave the Union. Similarly, had the elites secured a "remain" majority vote there would have been no question of re-running the EU referendum, the issue would be dead. This is not how democracy should work and you know it. There is absolutely no problem with getting people to confirm their vote if the only options on the ballot are variations of "leave" without any option for "remain". The very fact of putting "remain" on the ballot is to ignore the first referendum vote - negating all elements of democracy.
