If true it makes my point. If everyone believes brexit means the sky falls it means then for the tories, easy days. However, if people refused to lose their heads and examine how things really are, how they once were, and how they are for countries without blanket trade agreements with Europe, we would realise there is no *good* reason for the sky to fall, except if used as an excuse for an even heavier 'austerity' (which is and has been code for we take your taxes but now are not obligated to spend them on anyone but the rich). Brits need to get a bit more savvy, I think. Maybe learning about the infrastructure of trade would be a good starting point. I suspect the tories have as much of an interest in obfuscating the truth as the remainer others but perhaps for different reasons. Like me doing the dishes. If the plates have suds on them and bits of last nights dinner, after a while i stop getting asked to do them. If no one expects the tories to maintain a working infrastructure because everyone is convinced brexit broke the uk, then they end up with a totally free ride on our taxes. For that remaining pivot, the tories are the party for the job. People might expect more from labour. I'm working here from the paradigm that both sides support the establishment in different ways, not that I support either party.
