Isn't all imported and exported food done so under EU rules and to EU standards? If we no longer have those trade deals with other countries, then food from the Americas, Asia, etc. will be subject to tariffs so will raise in price and potentially be more difficult to obtain, problems with fresh food rotting at over-run customs facilities, etc..
The upside is that it might create a glut of UK lamb for the domestic market, since exporting it becomes less viable, but if land on which to raise sheep is no longer subsidised then will lamb prices have to stay high to offset the loss of subsidy?
