misrepresenting it as the work of supercomputers is having a laugh. I think it's far more likely we'll perish in nuclear conflagaration than due to global warming but it's incontrovertible - CO2 and methane insulate the Earth and human's are acting to increase the addition of these compounds to the atmosphere such that if this continues, in the next few generations climate change will make it impossible to sustain our uncivilisation. Given their fossil fuel dependant economy no surprise that Russian interests should be promoting skepticism. This is all a function of our growth addicted system. As Mack points out, where is the harm from adopting redistribution, parecon and contraction and convergence for our well being? cheers, dan
