Thanks John. One problem there is the "too late": to late for what? To meaningfully reverse fossil fuel use, carbon emissions, and soon, I think you're going to need to get rid of industrial civilisation and a large chunk of the human race. The green new deal is not gonna do this. The liberal hippies who make up ER, largely, in the UK are neither resourceful, self-sacrificing nor in my view trustworthy people. But if it happens it's not going to dent projected AGW for quite a while. But it's never too late to make sensible decisions based on reality - in this case adjustment to the reality of actually possessed, useful resources, and to social and psychological needs and realities that correlate with geopraphical, physiological and other realities. To these ends it's worth getting skilled in nature-like technologies and nurturing ones own kin and friendship groups. And yes keep praying because to think the future is in our hands is big mistake, and it's always worth being ready to kiss the ole hind quarters "farewell", with sang froid, and to abandon hope is a dereliction of duty. Go well.
