On one point - have the lock-downs actually reduced infections and deaths? Archived Message

- or is the virus spreading within homes and workplaces primarily, and rarely in public places? I'm lately vexed that "young louts out drinking" are being blamed for a sudden spate of CV cases in Aberdeen, with the whole of the city rising up against them, including the sizeable proportion who would have been out there themselves drinking and louting if given a chance. I've heard nothing about where the new outbreak started, or why it was blamed on young drinkers. It's something I am very uneasy about with this hysteria/TDS pandemic - the feeding of herd hysteria and two-minute hate sessions against dissenters - or just against normal people acting as they always have rather than jumping to attention on the orders of the F**ing Queen. Specially in SCOTLAND! Not sure if I already posted this, and it might send some into hysterics, but I think it is an excellent thesis, turning current policy upside down: https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/herd-immunity-is-still-key-in-the-fight-against-covid-19
