Admittedly The Wiseman Cup – All-round Surfcasting Champion: goes to the highest aggregate points from both in shore fishing and casting. So maybe at sometime in the past it was for Surfcasting but the rules do not explicitly state that.
Anyone have some history on the Wiseman Cup?
