You may be about my age,I passed those, followed by Full Tech. Cert. and National Craftmans (if it existed now it would be Craftsperson I suppose) in the 70's .I'm due to take the ATA at the end of the month. Tom W.
However you don't need to have passed any kind of test to work on motor vehicles, either as an amateur or professional in the UK.
If you did, most of us on this forum would be a damn sight wealthier and probably healthier. My wife is a teacher, they wouldn't have let her near a classroom without qualifications.For most of her teaching career she earned a lot more than me & a pension too!
