1) Obtain incident number from helpdesk/recorded message
2) Carry out test
3) If its a pass - issue certificate from emergency testing pad
4) If its a fail issue a handwritten VT30
5) Occasionally check to see if system is back on
6) Issue handwritten paperwork to customers if they collect there vehicles before system is back on.
7) Enter all tests done under emergency testing.
8) Site manager has to verify all emergency tests have been entered.
9) If customers return to collect proper VT20's (system will not re-issue VT30's once its back on.) Convert handwritten emergency certificates into computer printed copies.
10) When failures (issued under emergency testing) are retested you will have to enter them as full tests (not retests, as you will not have a test number or emergency certificate number for them. You will then be able to go back in and enter test results, although this will flag up a "quick test" you will have paperwork to verify that the original test was done under emergency testing so VOSA will not take any action.
