Being a member of the Motor Codes or Trust my garage does not protect you from the motorist that is cutting back on regular maintenance
Customers need education that their vehicle needs to visit a workshop at least once or better twice a year for a service or an interim check. Ignoring maintenance until it is absolutely necessary makes the garage owner the BAD BOY as we tell them all the things that have accumulated because they have been ignored. I would imagine this would lead to a customer presuming he is being ripped off because of the ignorance of his owns vehicle maintenance requirements
