Les, that's interesting-if you use a crypton smoke meter,there is no built-in' temp measurement, you have to use an additional temp probe. therefore, you just follow the prompt screens on the crypton software,& when it gets to 'check oil temperature' you click on 'option not fitted, abort' (or similair) then you insert the temp probe of your 'stand alone unit' (or not, as some stations do) we do, and get 80 deg after a run' cheers ian(n)
