Thanks for this. Indeed, both funny and informative. As one who watched the footage as a seven-year-old back in 1969, I was transfixed be anything Appollo at the time. However, I like to think I have an open mind regarding what actually happened or didn't happen back then. One of the first things I did on the internet (no, not search for porn!) was to try and figure out if the moon landings were actually fake. I came out after a long trawl still uncertain. To be honest, I can live with it all being true or a lie, so I'm not conscious of any conirmation bias at play. I'd simply like to know the truth. Having earned a crust as a photographer for a while, certain photos did strike me as being fabricated - too many light sources, plus I've never heard an adequate explanation of how a Hasselblad camera without 6 inches of lead incasement could prevent the film from fogging due to sustained cosmic radiation - which I also believe is why any astronauts on a 2-3 year mission to Mars and back would be pretty much fried and glowing like the kids from a Ready Brek commercial by the time they got back. I understand how a few important shots that might have come back from Boots with a sticker on suggesting they remove the lense cap next time might have needed to be "re-created" let's say, but on the whole they stood up. Also the post-landing docking footage looks slightly wobbly, as does the lift-off from the moon of the part of the lunar module containing Armstrong and Aldrin (can't remember the proper name for it!) - not quite on par with a scene from The Clangers, but... anyway, the now too late short answer would be that if I were a jury I'd still be out for a good while on this one. Agree with your comments about not trusting pundits and leaders on anything. My trust levels are already microscopic and diminishing every day. How many times can you red-pill! Apart from that I'm fairly chipper
