I was 18 that summer and absorbed by other things like my then girlfriend... Anyway, I had never given it any consideration till now! Scince was never my favourite subject so evrything I knew about space travel came from Star Trek, which incidently hit our TV screens ( mine b&w) in 1966/7. All I could have guessed about the lunar module to the mothrship could be summarised as "beam me up Scottie". Still curious why the Soviets didn't blow the wistle on this? I will investigate further. All this helped me to a my own definition of a "conspiracy theorist": He's the kid at school who told me Father Christmas didn't exist!!!! The "debunkers" in this moon landing fable remind me of how I reacted to being told that... Best wishes, a 6 year old dork
