always hated the idea, always taken every chance they could find to chip pieces off it, and to do it down. I've been watching that process - with my lying eyes and my lying common-sense - since I was a child. There's no question about it. The ultimate aim has always been quite settled: Abolish the vile bloody socialists' non-commercial social medicine for ALL, and re-establish health care as a ruthlessly commercial business, strictly for those who can afford it. And then milk even them to near-death too. The utterly foul, deeply ineffectual, nth-rate USAmerican model in other words. Ineffectual for the sick, that is; but highly effective for the gangster capitalists real intentions. That purpose has never changed, and you'd have to be blind to not see how much nearer its slimed recently, under the current bunch of power-usurping tory creeps, and their immediate predecessors. There purpose has always been to encumber it with so much malevolently-engineered short-fall and failure that it becomes an easy sell to demolish it. And that's what the scum have done, and are now attempting to complete. |
