If you don't open the NHS up to US corporations then you wont get a US trade deal: the US has stated this repeatedly. The reason you need to negotiate such a trade deal is because you are junking the ones we already because of Brexit: they are European deals. Without the economic & political weight of European partners the UK is conveniently weak to helpless in any trade negotiation against the US: you have effectively unilaterally economically disarmed the country and are an economic sitting duck. Of course destroying the NHS and remodelling it on the utterly fraudulent US system will cost a lot of people their wealth ($900 dollars per month for insulin anyone?) health, and some their lives (can't afford it? tough)...but make vast amounts of dosh for a US/UK corporate elite ... which is what Brexit was designed to do. -Its patently obvious that you are intelligent enough to see this. On the other hand its unfortunate that you are caught in the mental cul de sac of not wanting to. |
