We were alerted to this possible issue when we changed to NIG by the broker.
Yes you can have cover for Domestic & Pleasure use, but this only extends to vehicles owned by the company, i.e. it is not enough for the vehicle to be just registered in your name you really need to prove that the business owns it. We had to have special grant for all vehicles that are registered in our names.
Also, for other people on the policy that have Domestic & Pleasure cover, i.e. wives & long term partners (short term girlfriends won't get cover) they wouldn't be covered normally for their work use. I even had to have special grant applied that allowed me to use my cars for my other job!
I think if you prepare yourself that if you have a major claim, the cover is going to be less than you expected, then you will be about right.
