I have had my son insured with Axa since he was 17. They covered him for business on any vehicle but initially restricted him to a 1.3 max (no turbo's GT's etc)for s d & P. Since he reached 21 it is 1.6 (he is 24 now) but all restrictions lift at 25. Slightly higher excess though. They did provide evidence of his insurance record when he decided to buy an RX7 and self insure that which helped a great deal at the time. Always found them to be helpful although I always deal with one of there specialist reps, not there head office. I guess i have been fortunate in that respect.
